I wonder as a society how many of us care if we are monitored? Would you care if you were monitored, at work ?

"The aim of the new system, according to KDDI, is to enable employees to work more efficiently and managers to easily evaluate their employees' performance while away from the office."
It seems to me that every day we are getting more and more exposed to being monitored. Even if just in small ways. Yet do these small ways have an impact on how we think ? Will they impact our children differently then us?
I think yes !
Look at television, for example. Shows where we can peek into the lives of famous people. Their everyday lives, so we think. We love it ! In fact many shows are showing us peeking into others lives. How often have you thought about being them? How does this peering into another life, really affect you?
Today young people are more exposed then ever to being monitored or interacting with others. I dare say any of them would care. They would not give up their comforts to worry about privacy, or would they?
We send images, we interact, we talk, we text, we gps, we like to see it all, know it all. So maybe even though some of us see the reality of monitoring employees as evil, maybe many others see it as just another tool, for the benefit of all.
