Working Hard, But Hardly Getting Paid - 99ers Tier 5 Now!

Pandemic unemployment and brutal inflation have yielded malignant poverty all across the once fruited plain of the United States of America.

President Obombasta's genocide machine is shamelessly rolling along, efficiently decimating the Middle Class in America, and illegally waging wars with countries all around the world.

If necessity is the mother of invention, then hunger is the sire of servitude.

Unable to feed ourselves due to laws and ordinances that prohibit the production and/or consumption of organic, local, home-grown produce, millions of 99ers are dying of starvation.

Living in squalor like medieval peasants, millions of desperate 99ers have undertaken dangerous, degrading jobs at third world wages just to survive.

Many die-hard survivors of modern financial genocide have been forced to complete hazardous, menial tasks for painfully low rates - sometimes less than a dollar per hour, sometimes only a meal, without insurance.

Regardless of the conditions or wages, millions of hard working 99ers are hardly being paid.

Children are like little animals that adapt to situations. It shouldn't be this way. The thing is the parents have had everything taken from them and no job to be found, and they have to live in fear that the State will come and take these kids away and put them in foster care. It has been reported that the schools are filled with these homeless kids. I don't see any worry on Obama's face. He is pretty good at showing no feelings. I don't get it with this guy. People need him now more than ever, and he doesn't flinch.

The Financial Genocide you speak of is perpetuated by banks and big business. These two industries are in the Right Wing's pockets. The Right are the ones who do not want regulation so that the financial industry can continue to squash the middle class.

"illegally waging wars with countries all around the world."
~~I suppose you took no issue with George W. Bush waging illegal wars around the world? Perhaps if people would recognize that the wars which led to the recession were started by George W. Bush. They had been going on for 8 years before President Obama took office. Wars cost money. They crippled our economy. Obama is no better insofar as he did not end them swiftly. He continued to spend money on programs (military and non) that have made the situation worse.

It's odd how short memories get when the next political lamb comes to the slaughter.

Ironic. It was Bill Clinton, signing the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act, that gutted the Glass-Steagall Act, deregulating the financial sector, and removing the separations between investment banks and depository banks.

And don't forget Jimmy Carter and his Democratic Congress's farewell gift, The Depository Institutions Deregulation and Monetary Control Act of 1980.

Elizabeth Warren, one of the five outside experts who constitute the Congressional Oversight Panel of the Troubled Asset Relief Program, has said "the repeal of this act [Glass-Steagall] contributed to the Global financial crisis of 2008–2009."

Wars played a very small role in our economy, at least money wise. We have spent less than 1.3 trillion in ten years on the wars in the middle east. That's 25% of one year's Federal budget under Obama, and has provided quite a few jobs. Of course, that is offset by the increase in benefits and care of the wounded.

1.3 trillion in ten years=130 billion per year. Compare that to a 4 trillion budget. A measly 3.25%.

Their opposition to everything and anything that helps the people is obvious.
We once had a hero for a President who honestly cared about Americans. We will never have that again. The government has to make the tax codes to benefit the middle class workers, not the rich. 3,000,000 kids are poor not having lunch money and living in poverty. What is happening to this country. The rich have to pay more to deal with the deficit. Anyone who can't see that the Republicans are making it tougher for the ordinary people is blind. These Republicans have to go.
