Why the media silence on the death in Morelos, Mexico?

If you paid attention y'day, Mon. 5/31/10, you might have noticed a "news crawl"
at CNN re.: "Mexican warden kidnapped and dismembered...". Gee, you think
that might have hit the mainstream U.S. media.
But here in So. Cal., I heard nothing on the radio about it, and this morning, checking both the LA Times and San Diego Union-Tribune, silence from their
camps on this major story, as well.
As my girlfriend suggested, perhaps those who are pro-open borders and
illegal immigration want to keep a lid on this inicident, which reminds all
rational people how dangerous Mexico is, and what a muy stupido idea
it would be to open the borders and allow un-checked illegal immigration.
Demand that YOUR local media cover this story. After all, however "they"
feel about this issue, isn't the point of a "free media" to cover all sides
of the news?

Anyone could do the same to us, when one of our criminals does the same.

You are generalizing against an entire country.

The bad ones there, are the same as the bad ones here.

We according to you are a very dangerous country too.

We will have secure borders and I hope without the kind of idiocy that is happening now.

I tell it like it is, I pull no punches, tell no lies, and I am as I am

I'm not accusing an entire country or its people of anything, but I am reminding the aware citizenry of this country how chaotic things can be
in Mexico, perhaps due to the out-of-control drug cartels. Certainly you're not
defending THEM, are you?
Oh, and when the U.S. Embassy warns U.S. travelers NOT to go to Mexico
as they have in recent years, that would suggest to me that there IS a problem south of the border, si?

But the general people, are just like us.

They are hard working people just trying to survive.

The governments of both countries are corrupt, and need to clean up their acts.

We do live in a better world, here in the USA.

So, if any one blames the people for the actions of criminals, in or out of the government, then they are wrong.

Perhaps the chamber of commerce of SD or TJ pressured them because trade and tourism between the cities is so important but has dropped dramatically because of the violence in TJ.

I agree that the drug gangs have gotten out of hand, but the drug problem is entirely different than the illegal immigration problem, with different causes and solutions.

The open border thing is a two way street and the Mexicans are angry with us because we allow 800,000 automatic weapons to go South and it is our addiction that drives the trade.

Other than our addiction part, there ain't no way Al.

No way in the wide world.
