Why are foreigners looking to hire American writers ?

I'm having a real problem with looking at all these freelancing sites and then here it comes: an ad or a job posting by a potential employer who is looking for someone; mainly American writers with Proficient English skills. But the employer doesn't have good English him/herself. Then, when I look, there are all kind of foreigners who are purposely underbidding to get the jobs when they do not have the qualifications the employer calls for!

I see so much of this on freelance websites where qualified writers, instructors, copy editors, etc... are being shoved out of the way because someone else from India or Afghanistan or even Pakistan will underbid on the job, you look at their writing skills and what do you see?
They don't have a good grasp of current and proper English, but yet, they are still gonna try and get that job that someone else more qualified should be getting.
IF English is NOT your first language, then you have no right nor any business bidding for any job for which you are not qualified for.
I don't speak Chinese, so therefore I cannot bid on a writing job that calls for someone proficient in Chinese.
Likewise, if you are Indian or from Kenya, or any country where English is NOT your first language, then you should not be allowed to bid on jobs where it specifically calls for English as a first language.

The real true reason why this is done is these folks are poor. Very poor and in places like Bangladesh, where the annual income is $125.00/yr, the thought of earning more money doing a job you are not qualified for doesn't bother folks. They don't care, they will learn as they go.
I have had several foreigners contact me asking me how to help them improve their English skills.

I always refer to them the WORD WEB site where they can download and install on their own computer a free dictionary, and thesaurus. It gives you the definitions, the correct pronunciation, and the correct spelling, as well as a few other things you can use it for.

I wish Employers would screen people more carefully when it comes to this type of thing. Because American writers are losing jobs to others who are not qualified to write or do data entry, or anything else that a skilled worker should be doing.

Stop stealing our jobs!!!
