It seems as though people aren't listening to the wise words of those such as LBraver, who are telling people not to use such fast food establishments as White Castle for romantic purposes. I personally don't mind the White Castle Valentine's Day, though one of these upcoming lovers holidays I plan to have someone to celebrate, and also plan to go somewhere far classier than White Castle, or even Chipotle. That being said, the story of a couple who made White Castle the site of their wedding is more than outrageous.
The McDonald's were married in White Castle last Saturday, how sacrilegious to the McDonald name. The Kentucky couple met in the restaurant when they worked together, and thanks to the "White Wedding" contest that was held by the "Ben Davis and Kelly K Show" on WDJX-FM, they won wedding rings, a night in a hotel, flowers and a serenade by the band "White Tie Affair."
Let this be a message to radio shows all around, do not give people white weddings as winnings of a contest, or at least in Kentucky. This likely would not have happened. Though maybe if this somehow works out, I guess good for them. That seems very unlikely though.
In the end, if you have to hold your wedding ceremony between the hours of 9:30 am and noon because the afternoon rush for slyders is too important, this is a very bad sign. And when your wedding cake is shaped like the said slyder, this is a very, very bad omen.
