My jaw nearly hits the floor every time I see the amount of comments on Rudi's diatribe on circumcision, 373 at last count! http://www.rantrave.com/Rant/Mass-Bill-W...
Things were not this exciting at Rant Rave since R&R was about to reach it's 1,000 posting, remember those days old-timers and staff? And it is well timed too because of all the upgrades R&R has received. I dare say that it might be the upgrades that has increased the traffic on the rants and raves at R&R because I notice a lot of comments on other rants and raves as well but the circumcision rant is definitely out of this world.

So that got me scratching my head. (No, not that one!) What possible level of importance could a small piece of skin attached at the base of every guys head (Yes, that one!) have to do with everyday reality? Don't get me wrong I'm a guy I get it! But I'm not going to go on any online forum and start discussing the pro's and cons of what I have or don't have attached to my, you know what! Jesus, Anna, Louisiana, It seems a bit blown out of proportion. Wouldn't you agree? It is almost as if there was a virtual line outside the doors of prospective forum subjects (use a bit of creative imagination here, will ya?) and the prospective commenter's are waiting for their subject to pop up over one of the virtual doors so they can storm in and start texting about….

To put this in to perspective there were at least four different rants and raves done on the subject of Haiti's recent troubles and woe's (Remember Haiti has been pretty much in the crapper for a while before the earthquake hit them and not the Dominican Republic which occupies the Eastern half of the island of Hispaniola. Which by the way, That still amazes me how one country could be demolished and the other one right next to it left unscathed . Anyway I digressed.) Haiti's Rant's & Raves got less than 100 comments total (Am I right guys? I didn't go and check. Will someone please go back and tell me the exact figures, thanks.) So that is nearly three times more comments on the foreskin than on Haiti. Can that be possible that foreskin can be more relevant in our society than the condition of Haiti?

Honestly, I don't want to know! If I am going to get a whole bunch of comments on the , "benefits of having ole willies' head bundled tight for his outdoor excursions" then please save the digital memory space. That part does not interest me as evidenced by the few comments I made on the subject on Rudi's rant. (By the way Rudi. Good job on the rant. I think as it affects people of faith that the subject of legislating against circumcisions is very relevant because it is interfering with one of Americas most important freedoms and that is the separation of Church and State.) I will tell you what does interest me the psychosis behind such an unusual attachment because I don't see any people running out to get circumcised unless it is for religious, aesthetic or medical reasons. I also want to hear from the women . Lore has it that women prefer an uncircumcised man because of the hygiene aspect and aesthetics. Is this true? Anyway, I believe I've said enough. What say you?

PS: I don't like my new catch phrase so I'm not going to use it!
