Okay, I am all for free speech. God hates America, okay, God hates Fags, a little rude but okay, but now they have done something so heinous that not even I can stand for this.
Westboro Baptist church is now saying that god hates nerds. No, this is real, they really want to protest at the nerd mecca. They want to protest at the up-coming Comic-Con in San Diego.
Nerds have journeyed here to be with their own kind every year since its inception. Here is where nerds take off their glasses, put in contact lenses, and dress up as their favorite hero's from the comic book world.

Is there anything more stupid than this? How can they possibly call this evil? Seriously, I would think that even they as amazingly ignorant as they are, they should be able to see that there is a double wide parking space in this argument for the phrase "pot calling the kettle black".
Let us really do a comparison here. They are evil because they pay attention to fictional characters in books and movies, dress like them, and debate and discuss the relevance of certain back stories, plot, and different narratives surrounding said characters.
Would someone please tell me why the bible adventure land is less evil? Would you tell me why comic book stories featuring jesus and pals is better than any other comic book?
The outstanding call that god hates nerds is so miss placed that I can hardly even see how they could have made it? Really look at someone who has studied the bible, knows it verse by verse, knows a large amount of Jewish history, dedicates their entire lives to the words in the bible, and even goes so far as to hold regular weekly meetings to read from the bible and discuss it, is in fact a nerd.
Nerd is a badge of honor, nerd is a compliment. God hates nerds? I just hope they know what that entails.
Oh wait they can't be nerds. Nerds dedicate their time to learn talk about their favorite people with superpowers. They on the other hand dedicate their time to learn talk about their favorite people with superpowers that happen to be Jesus and the apostles.
