Was Paris Jackson exploited when she cried and wished her dead daddy a fond farewell? YES. But her tears were not worth any less for it.

Michael Jackson’s death seems to be the most devise issue in the media since the OJ trial! There’s race, death, sex, tears, accusations, and more junk flying through the air and the airwaves every minute. I almost want ANOTHER celebrity to die so we can just get over it! Was Paris Jackson exploited? Absolutely. Here are my reasons.

Unless you’ve been under a rock, you know all about Michael Jackson’s star-studded memorial service, where A through Z-list celebrities climbed all over each other to say how THEY were Michael’s best friend. It was more than a little sickening – and for some, the last few minutes took the cake.

The most explosive moment of Michael Jackson memorial service was when 11-year-old Paris Jackson stepped up to the microphone. But was Paris Jackson exploited? Read her words, and you decide.

"Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine," Paris said. "I just want to say that I love him so much."

Was Michael Jackson a hero? A pedophile? Both?

Was Paris Jackson exploited?

You decide.

This little girl lost the only father she has ever known & all you heartless haters worry is whether someone has been exploited? Okay I get it, if your not a fan, or you don't like Michael Jackson, but death is a terrible loss, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I think it may be "are we being played the chump here and is she being exploited in order to sell millions of Paris Jackson records in a few years". No one likes to be played the fool though it seems many are more than unnaturally naive to do so in regards to certain subjects. I don't question the sincerity of the girls words. The question I see here and it seems the Author of this post is asking is whether this was a premeditated publicity ploy by one or more family members.
In my opinion it is a tough call. On the one hand the girl may have wanted to say something for her father. On the other hand however, considering the steps MJ took to keep the children out of the public's eye this does have the smell of someone wanting to get Paris "in" the public's eye while the publicity was free. I also had the feeling from watching it that she was not real comfortable and that she may have been prodded to say something.
34 months ago: FYI: there have been another THREE celebrities die since MJ.
