I don't suppose there will be any boys reading this. Too bad because it is them who need to hear it the most. We girls know what happens every month. Don't we? Our very busy uteruses grows itself a healthy thick lining in preparation for that egg that we drop every month, just incase it gets fertilized and we is going to grow a baby. Yup and if you are just like most other women then you did not get yourself knocked up and you are not going to grow no baby in there so guess what our uterus does then?
Well it don't need that thick lining anymore so it tears it of and pushes it out. Say? Have you ever experienced discomfort, pain, swelling and bloating? Well sugar, that is what that is! Is your body canalizing from you the part it no longer needs. Why is it that boys can't experience this lovely trick of nature? I sure would like to see there little buddies fall of every month only to grow back again. Wouldn't that be special?
Well, it aint going to happen and I will still be a girl tomorrow so pass the chocolate, the Midol, the hot water bottle and a cup of tea. I'll be fine in a few days!
From WebMD:
What is a menstrual cycle?
The menstrual cycle is the series of changes a woman's body goes through to prepare for a pregnancy. About once a month, the uterus grows a new lining (endometrium) to get ready for a fertilized egg . When there is no fertilized egg to start a pregnancy, the uterus sheds its lining. This is the monthly menstrual bleeding (also called menstrual period) that women have from their early teen years until menopause, around age 50.http://women.webmd.com/tc/normal-menstru...
