What is up with the user unfriendly US Postal Service. April 15th is the one night a year that they could stay open past normal operational hours. So, unlike years past, they close down all of the post offices except 3 in all of western Washington at their normal time. Therefore, thousand of IRS returns will be late since most people will not drive 40 to 50 miles to mail their returns. Must be a plan by the government to raise more revenue through sneaky means. Also, how come the media wasn't all over these changes in Post Office "new hours" like they have been on the digital TV signal changeover. They have worn out the airwaves on that but nothing on the revised post office hours...which has now force a late filing.
