What do you know about Kate Gosselin parents?
Here’s some information on Kate Gosselin's parents, pulled from various sources online.
Here are the facts: Kate Gosselin's parents are Charlene, 50, and Kenton, 59, Kreider. Kate Gosselin is the second oldest of six children. Kenton, Kate’s father, is an assistant pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. He and Charlene own a trailer park/campground in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Kate's father also has his master’s degree in education.
Those are the facts about Kate Gosselin’s parents.
But that’s not all. Bloggers online have watched episodes of Jon and Kate Plus 8 a lot of times, done research, and deduced the following speculation about Kate Gosselin parents relationship.
It looks like Kate’s dad asked the members of his church for donations after Jon and Kate had the sextuplets. They responded by donating lightly used baby clothes and several cribs (which just about any expecting mother would love to get).
But Kate Gosselin decided she only wanted new, matching cribs and clothing, not used ones. She told her dad she only wanted cash.
Obviously, Kenton and Charlene Kreider, Kate Gosselin’s parents, could not go back to the church members and tell them that his daughter refused their donations and was only interested in cold, hard cash.
So, Kate cut her parents out of Jon, Kate, and the sextuplet’s lives.
When Kate says on Jon and Kate Plus 8 that her parents “don't know how to help us,” what she means is that since she didn’t get the cash she wanted, they won’t be seeing the family anymore.
P.S.
Kenton and Charlene Kreider are the same grandparents that took care of the Gosselin twins while Kate was in the hospital giving birth to the sextuplets.
Ice cold. Kate Gosselin parents’ story makes your relationship with your parents look pretty darn good, doesn’t it?
