I know i am going to really get it in the comments from many people, even intellectuals. But i ask you, WATCH THE VIDEO. It is probably the scariest thing I've ever seen. Yes, it has a lot to do with Obama, but it covers things like the Federal Reserve and the Military Industrial Complex.

Just watch it, seriously, it's by the same people that slammed the Bush Administration.

Basically, the Federal Reserve (a PRIVATE COMPANY) owns America.


It's Disgraceful, and downright scary.

In my opinion there are two main camps on this, the "conspiracy theorist" which place way to much government intervention into everything and then there is the "main herd" train of thought as I like to call them. The main herd camp somehow believes that most government officials only concern is to help they're constituents and whenever a government official says something they always mean it.
I am more right in the middle on this myself. I think there are a lot of "kooks" out there that try and place the government in every evil deed imaginable. But there are way to many red flags in our system as well as world government systems (United Nations etc.) to believe there is no concerted effort to some degree to herd us or entice us with government goodies into a socialistic system which is more controllable by officials who feel they are of superior intellect to be our overlords.
Unfortunately it seems there is and always have been a large portion of people which have this "main herd" mentality and like nothing better than to have some system hand them everything and make decisions for them. This is why I feel most of these moves toward a world socialistic system are happening with moves that the outcomes are easily determined. This could be as this film brings to light that an economic crisis can scare people into voting a more socialistic government into place here in the U.S. thus "herd mentality" is alive and well.

35 months ago: Some good points Siempre but I say even with a bias slant there are enough well documented issues here that Americans should be taking a good hard look at what is going on in our government.

35 months ago: I agree with Jakarta, Siempre, it's definitely a bunch a slant, BUT, there are some very scary, documented, true points in this documentary that really scare me. But you have to watch the whole thing to really stimulate enough thought. The guy who made this thing eve stopped it and said that he didn't want us to take his word for it, go online and Google his arguments and take what you will from it.

I don't take this video as an attack on Obama, but a carful critique of what is wrong with this country and more importantly our governing body, whomever they may be.

But, their information on the Bilderburg Group & the Federal Reserve all (or most) did check out on reputable sources. You do have to look past all the "BS" and fluff to get to the point, but it still has some merit!

I suspect Siempre will address you comment as well but I can say we realize emotions will play some part in the debates here but if they are kept in a subordinate role we will have a much better chance at reaching as much of the truth as possible. We certainly want to here your opinion but random shots of emotion filled ideas do little to add to the dialog constructively.

35 months ago: Instead of just criticising Alex Jones and making stuff up about him, why don't you actually find out who he is.

He has a radio show every week day that is free to listen to online, infowars.com.

He has a lot of big name people on his show, including in the last few weeks, Aimee Allen, Chuck Norris, Chuck Baldwin, Ron Paul, among many others. He also has had state reps. on for that past several weeks.

Judge Napolitano, the Fox News guy is a big fan of Alex Jones. But this isnt to say that Jones and Co. like Fox News, they dont.

The reason why Jones criticised both Bush and Obama is because their policies are virtually the same. Thus, it seems logical to me to respect Jones.

35 months ago: I have given the infowars network a listen. and I can assure you it has no left or right leanings.
And the network is very good about documenting its claims . I learned alot more there about what bush was up to then I could have learned at any other network including msnbc and faux. Hell I listened to greenspan saying the federal reserve was independent and that the government could not control their behavior. So The federal reserve is surely not federal anymore than is federal express/

35 months ago: Yes these are some of the red flags that I feel cannot all be dismissed or played as disinformation. One problem we have is that completely over the edge conspiracy theorists put way to much into the mix, then when we do have good information it is often dismissed as a conspiracy theory. I for one have seen way to many red flags to think there is not a movement going on in the government. The size and extent of it I have not made a resolution on yet.

34 months ago: Jesse Ventura said it right. There is a lot behind closed doors that we don't know about. Although I dislike conspiracy theories, there is a lot that goes into framing the parameters of public discourse that we are unaware of.
