The Fallacy of Democracy

Changing the Middle East with peaceful means...
"In short, the peaceful demand for democracy in the stagnant Middle East, where neither peace nor democracy has been of much value, is refreshing."

Therefore, the only way to achieve peace with the Islamic world is for them to adopt our notions of plurality, democracy, and humanism. They won't do this on their own because of their lack of shared values, and so it follows that we must intervene on their behalf to impose these values, and fashion democracies for them in our image.

I watch the news and see the Middle East dictatorships falling like a house of cards... one problem where do they go from here? One can say that they are fighting for democracy, but how does that play out? The democracy ideal, or the democracy real... what will happen when they get their precious democracy and nothing changes and they find out they have been duped?

Let me clarify. We can vote for the leader that we want, but have little or no say in what they decide on our behalf. We give them all the power and then hope that they remember us when they make it to the big time... good luck! The small guy voted them in... but the big guy is paying their salary; which way do you think they are going to act? All we can do differently in democracy, is vote in our dictators.

Yes, we have the right to scream all we like, write what we will, expose all we want... but at the end of the day, they will do things their way. Even now America's President is telling her good citizens what is constitutional and what is not, from marriage to mortgages... and if the leaders toss aside the constitution what is left to defend the small guy. These things were put in place to balance power... let's see what happens if the small guy stands against even the most arbitrary laws, let alone the constitution!

The East is going to be in for a big shock, once it gets "democracy" and it's countries are taken over by "their freedoms" and infiltrated by the same forces that have bankrupted, corrupted and monopolized everything from food to futures... if they think they are in hell now, wait until no one will be big enough to protest a global government! What are people thinking? DO they think that all their problems with greedy warmongering heartless tyrants will be ended? IF "peaceful" nations like the west can be broken and bankrupted to the point of revolution, will they get a better deal?

People are being sold this fantasy of democracy, while people endure the dictates of their oppressors. Let me put it in crude terms. A man is given pornography and is told this is a "legitimate" experience... with his hopes of building a family and a future he continues in that mode for years... only to find at the end of his life he has neither family, nor a future generation to pass on his life to. No matter the motions, nor emotions, the man is destined to failure. The "fantasy" is faulty... a fallacy. Some would say "At least the guy had some fun!" ...and this is the state we find the world. Families for fantasy...
trading procreation for masturbation... and mother nature for Monsanto!

The day that people can vote for issues, and have direct influence in matters of social reform, is the day we see democracy. Until we see a President as a leader in public service, and a Governor as a voice for the people... call it what you like but don't call it democracy. If people can't get what they vote for, all you have is a system that pacifies, lies and denies people, their God given rights and an equal voice.

Do we honestly think that our voice is getting stronger, as it is tossed into a bigger "global" hat to pick requests from? Do we see our existence as being valued more each day as our unemployment stats measured in global terms? With every "Global Village" there will be Global Ghetto's... and Global dissidents... no longer will we be governed by a constitution, but rather a consensus... and a detailed declaration of dependence.

What more needs to be said? Time now is for action. Demand access to your representatives and deny their access to corporate special interests by taking up all their time: denial of service attacks -- get into the mix and demand time with your politicians NOW!

What is exciting about the different forms of democracy the people in the middle east will now try to formulate is that they can look at all of the governments and see what works and what doesn't work.

After being victims of colonialism and imperialism of the West for several hundred years, I doubt those countries will turn over their freedoms to the corporations as we have.

Will their lives be better with a democracy than with a dictatorship? In the case of Libya the dictator kept one third of all of the oil money. Will the people get some of that or will they give that money to foreign oil companies? I think all that money could be used to build schools, water, power, sewage plants, and jobs.

Do you actually believe that they will learn from us? They hate the West and the horse it rode in on! IN order for them to play monopoly they need a piece on the board... everyone is linked to the financial merry-go-round... democracy is only the code name for the globalist game that is being played. I hope that their money will go to better infrastructure, but I doubt it... too many factions jockeying for position. You can vote or not all you want but the money system rules, and there is no escaping that.
