Get this, the latest "save the planet" product is "shmeat" lab-meat. Grown in the lab, supposedly eliminates the necessity to kill animals, and reduce methane by needing less animals for meat. Sounds logical? NOT! Until you scratch and sniff below the surface of the Natural Gas industry, you may find something stinks with that idea. I know someone who has first hand info into the hydro-fracking Natural Gas industry. I wrote a piece on it a few days ago, looking into the documentary "Gasland" ...one soon sees that eliminating a few bovine will not be the salvation of the Planet Earth. People are clueless when it comes to the truth about methane... more methane is released from under the polar icecaps than a trillion farting cows ever could produce!

To blame cattle for the methane problem is sheer stupidity...
check out where most of the problem comes from, even on NASA's site...

But I am getting off the topic... shmeat oooooh gross! Sorry, I prefer killing my steak!
IF it really was survival of the fittest, I think I would rather check-out sooner having enjoyed a "hearty" steak, than live another drudging day on oatmeal!
IF God didn't want us to eat meat, He wouldn't have made cows!

What do you think? Got shmeat?

8 months ago: To tell you the truth, I would rather eat meat that walked than meat that was grown. Potatoes are grown, meat is butchered...

I would really love to hear the arguments why is that this kind of meat healthier? If wolves and coyotes could survive on that meat without any side-effects for several hundred generations, I might begin considering it as an option in times of famine...
8 months ago: Yeah, I think this whole lab-meat stuff is a joke... can you imagine how expensive it would be... and what the price would be after they made farming illegal?
