Self Contained Lawn Chemical Containers

I have seen these new pump containers for round up and the like for your lawn care needs as well as weed reduction.

The question I have is what happens to those containers when they are empty? Do they get dumped into the trash and sent to our local landfills where there is a chance they might wind up in our aquafir?

I have no problem with someone wanting to get rid of weeds, daisies and other nasty growth in their lawns. My issue is with the containers that many probably without hesitation stick into their normal garbage bin to be taken to the landfills.

But i'll bet that stuff ends up in our water anyway, i mean what happens when you spray it right?!

Glyphosate

Not just a herbicide. It is also used in pesticides.

Good news though. The half life is only longer in the northen latitudes.
