Sarah Palin is totally braindead.

Sarah Palin released her idiotic "response to the state of the union address" on her facebook page, mostly because nobody takes her seriously as a person and she has to use facebook to try and pursue her idiotic agenda.

In the response she complains that an investment in new, modern infrastructure would bankrupt the country...clearly the braindead right wing nutjob doesn't get the direct correlation between infrastructure and economic grown (including job creation). She really should just stop talking, I mean other than Really Stupid Guy (RSG) nobody takes this moron serious.

I really pray that the hopeless conservatives try and run her in 2012...I will laugh my **** off at the 44 state win by Obama.

Pssst. Keep concentrating on Palin. When she's appointed Secretary of Defense you can do the V8 head bop.

16 months ago: I certainly hope not...I doubt the Republican party would let her run under their name anyways, she is a terrible evil person, and politically speaking, associating with her is suicide.

I am really hoping for Ron Paul to be on the ticket, he is, in my opinion, the best shot we have at "righting the ship"

I could go with that. Once again, I'm surprised at what someone said.

He, at least at the present time (Washington changes people) really thinks things through and makes decisions. I feel that the ability to think, rather than just jerk down the party lines is what would make him great for America.

16 months ago: Indeed. I really wish there was a way to get all 535 out and re-elect all at once, unfortunately that won't happen, but the possibility of at least having someone with real promise in the White House and 1/3 of Congress getting switched the chance for a real new policy direction could start to take shape.
15 months ago: Make Two Consecutive Term Limits for Congress and we could have a whole new Congress in 12 years or less.

15 months ago: But how to get the ones we have now to pass laws that are sure to put themselves out of a job? What would be a good incentive?
15 months ago: Franklin Delano Roosevelt is the only U.S. President elected to more than two terms. He was President from March 4, 1933 until April 12, 1945. He was elected to four terms and died during his fourth term.

The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for the President of the United States. The Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947

It could be amended to include Congress to say two terms for Senate and three terms for House of Representatives but it would take something Congress really wanted like continuing the Bush Era Tax Cuts in order for them to vote for it.

15 months ago: The full salary would apply only to those currently sitting. The ones elected after the bill passed would have to walk away with minimal benefits.

Congress will never pass term-limits on themselves...that would be asking someone to fire themselves...which is simply never going to happen.
