The right wing reflexively criticizes President Obama for whatever he does. Often without even considering the merits or the facts.
Rush Limbaugh recently demonstrated this trend by criticizing Obama's sending 100 troops to Uganda to protect civilians from one of the most horrendous terrorists groups in history.
Rush said that Obama sent troops to fight "The Lord's Resistance Army. He said that the LRA were Christian and that they fought Muslims.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gregory-al...To be fair it is an easy mistake to make. The Republicans are masters at naming things with the opposite meaning. Reagan started by naming an offensive missile "the Peacekeeper" Bush named "the Clean Air Act" which would allow coal companies to spew pollution and mercury into the air, and "the Healthy Forest Initiative" which would have allowed clear cuts everywhere.
http://www.emagazine.com/archive/2322 Language matters, and the terrorists might have learned from the Republicans by having a great sounding name and statement of purpose. But hacking off limbs, torture, rape and murder of children are not doing the Lords work.
http://www.irinnews.org/InDepthMain.aspx...In the simple minded black and white world of the Republicans all Christians are good and all Muslims are bad so Rush's ignorance is sort of understandable, except that the LRA also worked for the Muslims and slaughtered Christians.
http://www.theatlantic.com/international...But reflexive hatred of Obama and ignorance of facts doesn't really constitute support of terrorists. However the main financial supporters of the Tea Party and one of the main sponsors of all things anti-Obama did support terrorists.
http://theweek.com/article/index/206405/...We now know that Iran recently attempted to assinate a Saudi Ambassador here in the US. They have also been helping to kill Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. Because of that, there are sanctions against Iraq and American firms are not allowed to trade with Iraq, but the Koch brothers did just that.
Now it turns out that Herman Cain who happens to be the top of the chart in the Republican flavor of the week club is nothing but a paid puppet of the Koch brothers.
http://www.registerguard.com/web/newsloc...We had Bush with close family ties to Osama Bin Laden, the Koch Brothers ties to Iran, and now Rush Limbaugh defending the LRA. You really have to ask if they are serious about protecting America and the helpless of the world, or are they just in it for the oil, or money?
