There is currently a free seminar hitting most major cities in the United States, call Rich Dad, Poor Dad. The the seminar capitalizes on the fact that there are a lot more stay-at-home dads these days due to the poor economy. While it is a new twist, on an old sales pitch. At the end of the day it is only that...a sales pitch.
The "free seminars" are held at a local hotel. Right now they are even offering a free USB flash drive to all attendees. Sounds great right? Attend a free seminar and walk out will all of the tools to go out and strike it rich in real estate or the stock market.
Not quite, the seminar is a hyped up sales pitch used to entice you to purchase their 3 days seminar. They tell you that seminar is a 700-995 dollar value, but you can get it today for just 395.
That three day seminar is another sales pitch to to buy into their 3 weeks training seminar for around 9000 dollars.
Now I am not saying that their techniques and training are bogus, they are just simply not the normal result, but they want you to think it is. In reality if it was easy to get rich as they make it sound, everyone would be using it, lessening the overall size of the pie.
So keep an open mind if you decide to attend one of these conferences. Oh, and part of the pitch is to ridicule people like me who say that it is not the norm and call me a loser. While I imagine that is up for debate (depending on who you ask) it's a schmuck that doles out his hard earned money without doing his due diligence on the product he is buying.
