There's a LOT of bile out there on the Internets about the 2010 Bachelor finale. So why not add fuel to the fire?
In case you missed it, in the 2010 Bachelor finale, Jake rejected Tenley, a nice, kind girl with a heart of gold. In St. Lucia, as Tenley waited for her engagement ring, Jake told the cameras that he wasn't sure what he'd do. Then he stepped out on the balcony and told Tenley that she was "perfect for him" – not to mention that his entire family loved her – but that there wasn't a "special spark."
America, of course, knows that Jake was referring to Tenley's decision to not sleep with him until after they were married. Vienna, the woman Jake is "engaged" to, likely didn't share those kinds of sentiments. It was pretty clear from the Bachelor finale that Vienna and Jake were totally focused on the more physical parts of their relationship, as opposed to having a true, real connection.
On the "After the Final Rose special" (it followed the 2010 Bachelor finale) Jake still wasn't able to even tell Tenley why he chose Vienna over her. He gave the same line, almost word for word, that Tenley was "perfect" but there was no "special spark."
There are still some burning questions, too: are Jake and Vienna still together? Really? Will they get married?
My theory: Jake and Vienna made a deal on the 2010 Bachelor finale to split all the money they'll make by endorsing products and making TV appearances. They'll milk the whole Bachelor finale bit until it's dry, then they'll have an amicable split. That's why they have no plans to get married. It's a lie.
Just watch the video clip on the left. It's Vienna's intro from the first episode of the 2010 Bachelor season. She's like Paris Hilton, but more evil.
