So what happened to rantrave, the site where you can rant about anything? Anything as long as its not controversial. Rantrave has sold out to the middle class ****cats, where you can only join if you walk the walk not talk the talk. How can you be a Blog that bans people trying to give their opinion against a multi national. Are you ashamed that you sold out the very people that gave you the site in the first place.

All you want to be is an advertising web, using people's unhappy experiences to make yourself money. I am ashamed that I even used your site, I thought you would let me rant to my hearts content. But you let us all down by banning contraversy!

Jion the wimps you wimp!

http://www.ripoffreport.com/

&

http://www.pissedconsumer.com/

I used the latter to blow up on Bank of America. If you're going to stay around Rant Rave, you'll probably want to expand your repertoire as opposed to endlessly repeating your beef against Currys.

17 months ago: Huh?

I, like every body else that breathes in the world, has problems in their faces every day.

It's how you deal with your problems is what is important.

Do elaborate on your problems. You obviously need to get something off your chest.

17 months ago: My problem is that I am angry.

I have been shafted by a company that revels on causing as much pain to as many people as possible. DSGI pretends to be a diverse caring company with a mission statement that would make god appear as a an ogre.

It is hard to explain how I feel because I have tried every avenue to deal with these people in a civilised way. They see politeness as a weakness and exploit weakness. All I want is my reputation and interity back to how it was.

Perhaps the rant was purely invective with little substance or evidence?

18 months ago: The reason why I was censored was because I ranted about Currys DSGI. A guy called Christopher logged on and asked me specific questions about the organisation that only an insider would know. This company then contacted rantrave and every thing was deleted. I worked for this organisation for a number of years and I have some good friends still working for them and they pass me information. I have to rant under different names as the connection between myself and the people who are still there is too obvious.

These guys are so evil they need to be exposed. I am sueing the company for a number of reasons and they keep on threatening the lawyers and myself. This company has caused me a lot of hardship and have destroyed my reputation and my career. Thanks for your interest. I cannot go into details on the internet at the moment, but am happy to go into detail off the record.

You ranted under 4-5 different profiles, then commented on your various posts using your different user names. That makes you a spammer, nothing more.

No one from Currys contacted us. You spammed, so I deleted you.

18 months ago: Hi Mr Armchair Liberal Warrior

Regarding Ero's trying to invade again.

A tiny country like England protects you and fights your wars. People like you make me sick. I they were to put a stop light outside your home you would write a letter to your president. But issuews like the Middle east are so far removed from your safe little old house. I suppose your biggest reaction to real people fighting your wars would be to pop another can.

What happened to your Vietnam Vets, they were treated like S**T when the returned home. What about Cambodia where British Special Forces went over the boarder as your country would not. One of our special Forces Captains was captured by the Cambodians, doing your bidding, and just before he was executed he was given a way out. They said if you Blame the US for being here we will let you go. Do you know what he said, he 'lets get on with it, I hav'nt got all day' and he was garrotted.

How does that make you feel Mr Armchair Warrior. Your ranting and raving is allowed because it is so insignificant it shows what a shallow person you are. What about the Gulf a tiny country again teaching you how to fight. The there is Granada, a school bus came along and your helicopters paniced so much they crashed intoi each other in a rush to run away.

How dare you patronise me and my country. Your rightious indignation and your inability to help people fight the corporate bullies makews me want to puke.

Bush: Hey Tony, we're looking at overthrowing Saddam and finishing the job my daddy started.

Blair: Oh you have our unquenchable support Georgie and we'll even gin up some extra WMD intelligence.

Bush: That's just great Tony - if we didn't have your support, we'd be accused of doing this action unilaterally. And you know, I'm not really good with the gab; maybe you can give a few public speeches to push the cause.

Blair: of course Georgie, I'll lay on the charm and by the way, while we're scratching your back, I'm sure you could scratch our backs with a few BP contracts, eh good fellow?

Bush: Hehe, dont you worry Tony - our Gulf is your gulf!

In reply to; was it somewhere in the 16th century England merged with France?

The main element that kept the colonies and the British Crown in uneasy alliance was the threat from France with its powerful base along the St Lawrence seaway in Canada and along the western borders of New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The long and agonising French and Indian War between 1755 and 1762 saw the French forced out of Canada, with Britain assuming government of the French population, and the American colonies released from the threat of French invasion and dominance.

Not much happened in the 16th century

As for England holding up her part of the "world's" defense, well, what can I say, they do participate and they do make some fancy toys for the troops to play with, in very limited quaintities that is. As for her defending the US because the US can't do it herself, yeah, right.

I have travelled to the US many times both with work and vacation. The people I met in America were the nicest, kindest people I could ever wish to meet. The respect and integrity of your country will be with me to my dying day. I am proud to have Ameican friends.

But I still have a rant.

The Cypress mob cannot understand why fish and chips is such a popular dish in England. I understand the confusion of The Americans, its not processed food, the fish is a fish and the chip is a potatoe.

I find it hard to believe that a nation that has a hamburger (patty, pattie?) as its national dish would have the b***s to mock real food.

You don't really want to go there do you? You live in a country where nutters can run around mowing down civilians as well as executing police officers who are unarmed by law and can't do anything about it except die.

Considering the UK has one of the highest violent crime rates in the world (including the United States) - maybe you need to fire up a death row or least have a credible system of policing and justice that can protect it's citizens.

The sun has truly set on your empire and you probably shouldn't be throwing stones when you live in a sugar glass house.

17 months ago: Reply to inmates on death row, fried or smoked?

Ten years ago I was in Chicago and the Lone Star State was going through the process of killing somebody. I watched it on the TV and this guy kept on getting stays of execution. Half an hour later it was overturned, then there was another stay. This went on to late in the evening. Finally the governer of The Lone Star State quashed all stays and ordered the execution to go ahead, the guy was fried. No problem for me as he was a rapist and murderer.

What scared me was I could here cheering in the streets, but the real frightening part was that it was Georgie Bush who made that final decision.

Now that decision was not made because of the crimes committed, it was a political decision that was made to tell America you need somebody like Bush to lead your country. An eye for an eye is one thing but an eye for The White House is another.

Let's contrast to that an island of sick pups cheering on a rampaging murderer in the form of Raoul Moat, crying boo-hoo when he killed himself, and making tribute pages for him on Facebook. Even sicker is the fact that he was let out of jail even as they knew that he intended to do his ex-gf harm.

On that note why was Charles Manson and his death squad not burned. I am not totally against the death penalty but kill some one for their crime,s not for your own ends. Lets stir up the old death penalty murky waters from a different view and see what floats to the top.

Discrimination against the poor (and in your society racial minorities are disproportionately poor) is also well established. "Approximately ninety percent of those on death row could not afford to hire a lawyer when they were tried."(28) A defendant's poverty, lack of firm social roots in the community, inadequate legal representation at trial or on appeal. All these have been common factors among death-row populations. As Justice William O. Douglas noted in Furman, "One searches our chronicles in vain for the execution of any member of the affluent strata in this society."

This is what frightens me

So far as I have been able to find out, once criminals are executed they virtually never re-offend. Something about a lethal injection turns a violent repeat offender and career criminal into a model citizen. To date I have not been able to find a single instance of an executed murderer ever getting so much as a parking ticket afterwards. But I know that absence of evidence does not equate to evidence of absence. But the recidivism rate among executed criminals really does approach zero.
