After watching a press conference with President Obama this morning I felt I needed to take moment to comment on trade with China. There is no question that relations with China in regards to international trade has improved greatly in the last 10 years. The United States continues to focus on what our government calls the "closed" markets in China in regards to American companies doing business in China and with the public in China. As a small business owner and affiliate partner with Global Domains International Inc. (GDI), I could not disagree more. The fastest growing segment of my business is with the middle-class entrepreneur in China. The Online work at home market in China is booming and that is an understatement. The Domain Registration market in the .ws extension is growing at an amazing rate. There is no shortage of money to be made working with the great people of China. I do understand that many big businesses are finding it difficult to export to China, of course this is what is being addressed by President Obama and others.
Why? Because big business has the lobbyists and lobby dollars to push an over the top open market policy with China. These policies include environmental issues in China, as well as labor laws enforced by the government of China.
The reality is that all true growth in the modern economy comes from small and home based businesses. An example is the inroads in to China being made by online work at home businesses in China. These opportunities like those provided by with a partnership with companies like Avon, Amway and Global Domains International (GDI) are the true growth opportunities with China.
