Predicting death

My rant is personal but I am sure I am not the only one that does it. I dream or get feelings right when or before a death occurs to a family member. I guess it started when I was wee little because I recall dreaming something about my real dad having some kind of bad flying accident and he ended up crashing his hang glider (but didnt die). I did not do this with my brother who died by drowning and I didnt do it when my step dad had a fatal heart attack but was brought back to life. I've felt the need to go see an ailing aunt and stepmom but it was already too late. I got that feeling right when one grandma was dying and was dreaming about the other right when she was dying and most recently, the dream was a grandfather in the family and it turned out to be my former father in law. What gives with this? I would much rather be able to sense or predict winning lottery numbers or hot slot machines ready to unload you know??

I don't remember having any experience of this when my friends and family have passed, though I'm not sure what I would have done if I had. I hope that you are able to find some benefit to this, or maybe it eventually will turn into a sense to predict lottery numbers. Just don't use the numbers from Lost.

I just figured maybe someone would know how to sharpen or hone the *skill*.
40 months ago: Over the last 2-3 years I've noticed that I've become more sensitive to smells, simply by staying very aware of that sense, as well as taste. When I smell something, I always make it a point to find the source of the smell, just to make a task out of it so that it'll be easier to remember. As with anything else, practice makes perfect I guess. If you pay attention to intuition and your dreams, and note any parallels between dreams and events, you might be able to sharpen that "sense". It should work, in the same way that someone who plays an instrument will have better finger control than someone who does not play. It's all about keeping that gray matter active by associating things.
