Day after day on my walks, I always notice pennies on the ground. Sometimes I get somewhere between seven and eleven cents on the ground. It seems that people disregard pennies as if they were nothing. I know its just a measly "one cents", but lets not forget we are living in harsh economic times and to quote Ben Franklin: "A penny saved is a penny earned." It must piss Abe off, when people throw him on the ground. I mean this guy did preserve the Union and died for the cause. If we keep throwing money away will never get out of these terrible economic hardships. So do me favor, in honor of this country and Mr. Lincoln, just pick him up and collect him or put the one cents in your pocket. Its always feel good when you have the right amount of change to pay your expenses at the cash register.
