In America our entertainment value has come down to reality shows about drunken housewives who cry about how hard their lives are as they live in their expensive houses, driving their expensive cars and go to fashion shows.

Other reality shows are about every conceivable job in America including being an artist into a competition as if failing to win the television show makes you less of worth at the job you do.

Some reality shows offer a opportunity for parents who want to be famous to pimp out their children as they go on to dance on television in what is called "Dancing with the stars" although I am left wondering exactly what makes a reality show person a "star" in our country these days. Or has that show just become a struggling franchise as it picks up some long past their stardom stars along with reality stars.

Some stars are on their own reality show as if I needed to know they were seemingly insane in their private lives as they use numerous assistants in order to go about their daily lives. If you are that busy with work that you're unable to take care of your own laundry, etc… maybe, you're not really taking care of you but your career.

Fame is fleeting unless you can make the tabloids or get on the biggest pimping dynasty in America entertainment and television, ABC/Disney/ESPN. If you make it there well they will ride you till you break then discard you when your no longer able to fulfill their needs.

And what is with making a bunch of drunken people from Jersey famous? I don't need to watch people who think that fake tans no matter how orange they are is necessary to make them popular, fashionable and do all the women need to wear their hair the same. Is it not possible to be your own person now?

Please, please, please make the world sane again stop following Kate, Jon, The situation, Snookie and who ever those drunken rich chicks are on Bravo. People are living on the streets and we are making these people rich and famous all for pimping out their lives on our televisions, internet, and print media.

No way dude!!!! Thanks for the link, that is freakin awesome!!! I never knew of it before, but I'm dragging a shortcut to it straight to my desktop.

Man, that brings back some good memories, and when my kids go "Huh?" I can show them exactly the show I was talking about when I'm talking about the good ol' days.

Thanks again.

In the story, you have pedestrians dodging through heavy traffic to win a prize if they make it to the other side of the street, cardiac patients running on treadmills getting more money for their surviving family the longer they can go without a heart attack, and all sorts of other train-wreck type entertainment. Now that's reality.

Reality isn't a painted up face crying how hard it is being them, while a camera crew follows them around.

49 months ago: Yep. Well The Running Man was based in 2025, a devastated economy reduced the population to meager scraping by, and the Free-Vee network was the only entertainment the people could afford, because it was free. It was also effective as population conditioning, and a form of control over their thought processes.

It's almost like King had access to the HAARP space-time traveling devices that were used in the false flag ops surrounding the demise of our country's economy.

But at least, if King's date is correct, we know that we'll last longer than the Mayan calendar says we will.

For anyone who thinks I am serious, you'll believe anything anyway, so carry on.

I never knew the end of the world would be so boring....
