Our Crusade Against Islam

Some of the people in Bush’s cabinet believed in the End of Days Christian prophesy, and this may have influenced his invasion of Iraq and the ambivalence towards Iran and the rest of Islam. It may be, that in order to hasten Armageddon, Bush moved America towards a theocracy to try to fulfill God’s end of days plan, and invaded Iraq to hasten an imminent war with what he believed were Satanic forces in the Middle East. See: http://jesuspuzzle.humanists.net/AORForum13.htm

As part of this effort Donald Rumsfeld covered Iraq briefing papers with biblical texts. See:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/5340059/Donald-Rumsfeld-covered-Iraq-briefing-papers-with-Biblical-texts.html

Fortunately Bush replaced the most radical of his Christian advisers and replaced them with more rational people, and because of that, we have only antagonized the most radical elements of Islam. These mistakes undoubtedly cost Americans their lives.

Unfortunately the Obama administration is still having to deal with the blow back, and the bad decisions that Bush and his religious radicals made.

Today our military is still using weapons first ordered by the Bush administration, that are inscribed with biblical codes.

Like Abu Graib, and Guantanamo, our Islamic enemies, Al Queda and the Taliban, are able to use these "Jesus weapons" as evidence and as a recruiting tool, to solicit suicide bombers to fight a holy war against those who they believe are fighting another crusade against Islam.

Everyone says that this is Obama’s war now, but he is still having to deal with the consequences of American religious extremists. See: http://www.militaryreligiousfreedom.org/press-releases/2010/abc_sights.html

25 months ago: Terrible how acts by past appointees/electives live on and on and our young volunteers have to pay the price of someone else's fanaticism. My son-in-law is probably carrying one of those scopes (other rant) while training to go back to the war, and I know he has them in his unit’s armory, he trains others how to shoot when he is not looking for IED's in his "route clearance" job, drives a Buffalo, or did. Going to Afghanistan this time so new vehicles.

Six I hope your son in law (and everyone else over there) makes it home safe and sound. Hard to justify that many troops for only a hundred or so Al Queda in the country. The Afghanistanis will fight against any foreign occupiers.

"Hard to justify that many troops for only a hundred or so Al Queda"
Then what the heck is your boy Obama doing sending more troops? What blowback in Afghanistan is he dealing with? What about the rising terror threat in Yemen, a country we have bent over backwards to help?

Nice you guys found the same exact picture to illustrate with. What are the odds?
