Here's a little something I found interesting today:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_an...I do a decent amount of traveling and have noticed that fashion is noticeably different in places other than the US. My travels have really only taken me to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean but it has been enough to show me that the rest of the world doesn't seem to have a stereotypical dress code for people.
I don't mean to say that there is a certain set of laws set that person has to wake up and adhere to in order to go out in public. What I'm saying is that you never really see a guy going out in his best high heeled footwear. I read in the article that one particular style of shoe now allows for you to have three inches of lift on the bottom of your shoe. I'm a fairly short individual (5'10"), but even at the expense of being short I don't know that I am ready for such a fashion to become mainstream here.
I'm not really knocking this new shoe craze either way, I just saw the article and thought it to be odd. But then again, what you put on your feet is all personal preference.
I've seen the pictures, I don't know if I have the ability to handle the 70's disco look, but we'll see if this new trend makes it across the water.
