Yes, and ALL that will LIVE GODLY in Christ Jesus shall SUFFER PERSECUTION (2Timothy 3:12)… One interesting thing we can count on when we hear about Christianity around the world, especially in 3rd World countries, underdeveloped countries, and religion-dominated countries, and that is that Christians are SUFFERING PERSECUTION on EVERY LEVEL of LIVING imaginable.
But then we shift our attention to America where Christianity is MORE ABUNDANT than in any other country of the World, and yet there is RARELY any SUFFERING of PERSECUTION; and NOT because there are MORE CHRISTIANS than SINNERS. One of the MAIN REASONS Christians in America aren't SUFFERING much PERSECUTION is because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is so TAINTED, WATERED DOWN and COMPROMISED here that nobody is OFFENDED by it.
The AVERAGE Christian in America does ALL his/her so-called SERVING God by HUDDLING in churches having SERVICES and EVENTS, but RARELY exiting the building to take the Gospel to whom it was initially designed for – the SINNER in the STREETS. So where there's NO PROMOTION of the Gospel message out in the OPEN, there's NO SUFFERING of PERSECUTION, because NO ONE is OFFENDED or THREATENED by their SIN being CHALLENGED.
