Exclusive: No Criminal Charges Likely in AIG Collapse - CBS News Investigates : - CBS News
www.cbsnews.com

"CBS NEWS has learned that former AIG executive Joseph Cassano - the prime focus of the investigation into its collapse - will meet with Department of Justice attorneys next week in what will likely be an end to the two year criminal investigation into the company.
Sources tell CBS News that the criminal case against Cassano - once called "the Man who Crashed the World" - has "hit a brick wall" - meaning that it is likely no one will be held criminally liable for the downfall of the company that triggered a $182 billion dollar federal bailout.
Sources tell CBS News federal investigators have been unable to uncover any evidence that Cassano lied to his bosses or shareholders about financial problems at AIG.
In recent months, Cassano's lawyers - citing internal documents - argued that he never broke the law. Instead, he simply got caught up in a financial tsunami that engulfed Wall Street."

That's the sad society we live in...

You kind of left us hanging there, from what angle do you see the sad state of society? Is it the fact that one giant corporation can be so important to the overall economic scheme, or is it the fact that no heads are going to roll in our efforts to pin the blame on someone?

This is just one of the many examples that shows how wrong is the system in which our modern society is organized. We should go back to humanism, put the men back in the center, so you will not see anymore such faces like Mr. Joseph Cassano and others seating on the top chairs of society. We need nobility in men, that's our only hope. It is madness to leave the control of the society in the hands of businessmen, they are small men and all we need is the opposite of what they are.

25 months ago: Heads really need to roll over crap like this. Someone needs to be stripped of all their assets and spend some time in jail, and I don't mean federal country club jail either.

That was legal but not lawful, since they never told you the scam that everything is prepaid when you sign for it.

Under the system that they created, but never fully disclosed to us/you.

The Feds always give bailouts to the giant corporations as bribe money, to keep the system quiet and undisclosed to the general public.

When corporations do bad or are greedy and take too much and almost expose the scam, they bail them out. To hide the fraud from you -- their corporate slaves.

That scam and many more is what is being exposed by the RESTORE AMERICA PLAN.

I tell it like it is, I pull no punches, tell no lies, and I am as I am
