"...You can, however, prevent the abuse of children by providing permanent, loving families for kids at high risk of sexual exploitation and trafficking.
Human trafficking is an unspeakable horror; the sale of children into sex slavery is a tragedy of genocidal proportions. Thankfully, this once-hidden scourge is now widely discussed in churches, on college campuses and across a wide spectrum of media."

Did you asked to be born in America? Did you asked to be born into the family that you were? Were you even asked if you wanted the future you are heading to?
Some people don't have the liberty of pondering such questions... because they are slaves. Someone owns them and brutalizes them every waking hour, all because someone else takes their freedoms for granted... like to have the freedom for sex at a mere click of a computer mouse, or the price of a cheap meal...
I don't think that legislators are going to make wars that will stop people from being vicious to the most vulnerable and helpless... because we already have laws that are supposed to protect and serve.
What is lacking in the world today is love... the kind of love that will do anything to prevent someone else's pain abuse. The kind of love that will choose to curb one's own appetite for pleasure... to save someone else pain. The kind of love that has been lost... that ancient words used to describe honor, like chivalry.
Most "men" on Earth only bear the name... but are mere cowards, and slaves to their own desires, caring little, who's little girl had to be raped to get those pictures; those videos; and those compliant prostitutes...
but you can't un-rape a child! For every self-gratifying sexual slave you see... hundreds are tossed into the trash, used up and diseased, mutilated and forgotten... all because you "need" a fix. Like a "crack-head" your money, time and attention fuels the fire of greed... to steal more souls, beat more women, rape and pillage entire communities. While infrastructures still stand... the inhabitants are broken in ways that cannot be fixed, and death seems the only hope of escape.
Where do you think they get this flesh you feed on? Like animals in feedlots...
more compassion is given to cattle and pigs, than these caged and fed for slaughter. Save the seals... save the slaves!!! We need a few good men to say no... to say no to their own addictions and find repentance... to find some love, love enough to pray for forgiveness, instead of preying on the innocent. When the God of these children, that you or I have exploited, visits us in death... will He be our friend or our foe? These are questions you can ponder, because you think you are free...
How many men in honor have lost their lives for lies... lies about atrocities to get a war started, only to end up killing for oil, gold or water? Yes the twinge of honor pumps through the veins of the soldier starting out on the quest to deliver the innocent... yet returns many times like those he swore to defeat. IF we all were like honorable soldiers, setting out to deliver the honor of innocent maidens...
by first conquering the demons inside... the demand for such precious flesh would evaporate! "Supply and demand" ...it is our demand that keeps the supply of innocent flesh to be ripped from their mothers arms... it is our demand that keeps the most worthless excuses for humanity fat with the blood and tears of children.
Where is God in all this? Where the Hell are we? Are you and I part of the solution or the problem? You and I could be the ones to stand in the gap... say no to our own evil and complacency... and say yes to this same God who can transform our souls into abolitionists of slavery instead of merchants of souls. It won't take a miracle of God to stop the trafficking of children for sex... it will just take me and you, to stop purchasing and promoting the sale of these precious souls. It won't take a miracle of God to stop the evil men from raping children... just a few good men.
Jesus said... "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:10)
Am I such a man? Will I use every means with in my grasp to offer comfort to the lost and damaged; and offer a home to the homeless; and love to the unlovely? IF you don't have what it takes... this is where you and I need a miracle from God... and this is where the hopeless need their miracle from God... but to stop slavery, just a few good men...
men with a force, like that of William Wilberforce!
"So enormous, so dreadful, so irremediable did the [slave] trade's wickedness appear that my own mind was completely made up for abolition. Let the consequences be what they would: I from this time determined that I would never rest until I had effected its abolition." William Wilberforce, Antislavery politician http://www.christianitytoday.com/ch/131c...The judgment of man; his acquittal, his conviction, are in the hands of God...
the protection of children; their safety, their innocence, are in the hands of every man.
