Imagine it the great Brett Favre fails to put away the biggest football game of his career and when he does not get a chance to play in overtime due to the sudden death rules.

I bring this up because of course now the NFL wants to change the rule in order to protect the opportunity for the team unable to put away a solid win in regular play to get another chance.

Even if you are Brett "Diva" Favre, we play the game to win and if your team is unable win in the time given and you get no chance to score in overtime that is what the football gods have decided deal with it.

There is no crying in football and there is no whining about unfair you are the legendary football player all the analysts drool over but you need to realize that this game is not just about you or any other team whining about unfair play.

I am so tired and disgusted with rule changes to help those who cannot seem to put the game away when the time comes or protect those players who cannot seem to be able to take a fair hit without whining about unsportsmanlike behavior of their opponent.

The teams who blow a lead and then wine because they didn't get a chance to score in over time deserve no sympathy. The Lions haven't seen the playoffs since 1999 someone tell the Vikings to shut up. They had a chance and threw it away....
