Excuse me Mr. Edwards you almost killed a fellow driver let me tap you lightly on your wrist for your punishment. There is that better now?

This is the message being sent to NASCAR drivers across the board as the three-year probation barely even reddened the skin of one of the star drivers after his admitted payback during the race at Atlanta Speedway.

It was and has been possible to foresee that spinning any of the new cars around with that wing sticking out has in the past led to cars going airborne. His ill-fated attempt at payback when he was one hundred and fifty and laps back seemed both immature and in my opinion very unsportsmanlike despite Mr. Keselowski's reputation as a disrespectful driver on the track.

I was a partial fan of Mr. Carl Edwards but I am speechless at his recent comments and NASCAR's response to those comments and his on track behavior. I don't believe that his choice of risking another driver's life by behaving like an overgrown child especially on the front straightaway where parts and/or vehicles could have easily caused irreparable harm to both his reputation and NASCAR'S.

There comes a point where "have at it boys" mentality just is not responsible to recover ratings and boost fan numbers. Nothing and I do mean nothing is worth the money if it is at the possible risk of someone's life on or off the track.

There has to be a limit when bumping is racing is a valid argument and payback for last season is in my opinion particularly when you're not even in the running for a top twenty placing is foolish and irresponsible no matter who the drivers are.
