So this is what happened Morgan was steamed because Volstad threw a pitch a little behind Morgan in the top of the sixth inning. This was after Morgan was hit in the fourth inning, and a one day after Morgan started tension between the teams when he hit Marlins catcher Brett Hayes.
So a few players get made because a ball was thrown at them. then they come off the becch and want to fight. Very very interesting. Maybe I'm missing somthing here. You are given a peice of wood to try and hit the ball. The ball can move up to 100 miles per hour. A fist can't move anywhere near that speed. But when when hit the ball you don't use your fist, you use the bat, correct? So why would you run out onto the field with-out the bat when the guy throws at you? You could hit his fist with the bat as it's much slower than the ball.
I'll tell you why. You know better and running out on the field to start a fight is just an excuse to start a fist fight. You're not really mad at the picher, because if you were you would have the bat in your hand due to anger. When your mad you don't think, you just go.
Grow up and stop fighting, just flip the guy off next time. Remember he's throwing that little ball at speeds up to 100 MPH and may not miss you next time!
