Manny Ramirez has been suspended 50 games for using performance enhancing drugs, as reported by the LA Times. The suspension starts today, and the test reportedly was taken weeks ago and only now has been confirmed. There you have it, picking up a player who is both arrogant and stupid hasn't paid off for the LA Dodgers, and they won;t see him again in uniform until July 3.

Way to go Manny, way to prove all of your critics right! I can only imagine that work has been called off in Boston, and the pubs are packed with high spirited rendition of "Manny Boy!"

Just as A-Rod is set to come back, Manny is taking a stupidly deserved suspension. The reports are unclear so far on what substance Manny took, news is expected to break later today, but speculation is that Manny will use the "my doctor gave me medication that I was unsure of the contents." That has seemed to work so far...

Manny Ramirez is the biggest star to receive suspension, maybe this is due to his larger than life persona that he carried out of Boston, into LA, even receiving the most ridiculous contract. I wonder how much of this will be paid back? What a moron, in a sea of morons around him. Joe Torre, strange how this type of stuff seems to follow you! To make this story even better, this week is some Manny promotion week at Chavez Ravine, or Dodger stadium to the laymen. Priceless!

Meanwhile, my local Rockies fans are rejoicing. Good for them.

37 months ago: Thanks Rudi, that's very nice to hear. I think I can get my mind around sports a bit better than politics, even despite how political they may actually be.
37 months ago: Way to go Manny another idiot who fails to get it. There is no cheating in Baseball and taking a prohibited substance is still cheating you ****y millionaire.
37 months ago: Did I forget to mention he might as well look for another job as his baseball career is believably over.

37 months ago: Suspension or not, he's still going to make the All Star Team. I'm calling it right now (unless his name is removed from the ballots).
37 months ago: Your right Alex. The O syndrome / effect will kick in before All-Star break. Since everyone is railing on the BCS playoffs or lack thereof. How about the All-Star ballots? Vote as many times as you can during a game.

This stuff is surrealistic.

I say they go ahead and get the lawyers working on the case and boost him forever.
