Ted Williams became an overnight sensation after being homeless and dealing with drug addiction for years. He made an appearance on Dr. Phil recently where he revealed that he was drinking heavily since his new fame.
Ted was reunited with his ex-wife and children after having very little contact with them for many years. He also met with his mother too prior to the show. Before going to rehab Ted and one of his children had an argument during a hotel stay in California. He was detained by the LAPD, but no arrest were made after the incident.
He promised Dr. Phil that he would go to rehab and try to beat his drug and alcohol addiction. Ted was in rehab in South Texas at a facility called Origins Recovery Center. He left the rehab center before his treatment was done and said to be on his way back home.
Addition is a tough thing to beat, many people fail multiple times before they finally kicking the habit. I hope Ted does not give up the fight for sobriety. I still wish him well, but hope he continues on the right path in life.
