MSNBC has once again proven that it has the maturity level of a 15 year old boy. In his coverage of the “tea party” protests that occurred across the nation yesterday, David Shuster gave a lowbrow monologue, continually referring to the tea parties as “tea bagging.” If you’re not familiar with the term, I’m not going to tell you what it means, you can look it up. His intro began like this…

“For most Americans, April 15th will be tax day, but … its going to be tea bagging day for the right wing and they’re going nuts for it. Thousands of them whipped out the festivities, early this past weekend and, while the parties are officially toothless, the tea baggers are full-throated about their goals. They want to give president Obama a strong tongue lashing and lick government spending.”

He ends his piece by saying, “…if you are planning simultaneous tea bagging all across the country, you’re going to need a Dick Armey.”

Nice.

He goes on to say that probably all of the protesters are having their taxes lowered, as a result of Obama’s plan. Maybe, just maybe, the protesters are not protesting their personal tax rate, but the fact Obama has spent more tax-payer dollars than anyone in the history of the nation.

This isn’t the first time the folks at MSNBC have gotten themselves off on a tea bagging tirade. Rachel Maddow went on for about 7 minutes, on her April 9th show. (See the 2nd external link)

How can MSNBC consider themselves a legitimate, unbiased news source, when they spew crap like that? I know Fox isn’t unbiased, but I think it is more fair to the left than MSNBC is to the right. And I have never heard Fox say anything as juvenile as what Shuster lowered himself to yesterday. Shuster and MSNBC are an embarrassment.

Based on this, it’s no surprise to me that Fox News is completely man-handling MSNBC and CNN in the ratings. (As of late, Fox News is getting more viewers than MSNBC, CNN and CNN Headline combined.)
