TAMPA — Leaders of the Nation of Islam and Minister Louis Farrakhan are in Tampa this weekend for the 15th annual Holy Day of Atonement to mark the anniversary of the Million Man March, this years event is titled Atonement, Reconciliation and Responsibility.
Minister Louis Farrakhan, organizer of the Million Man March,is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Tampa Convention Center's east hall, which holds up to 8,000 people.
The keynote address is scheduled to be delivered Oct. 17
Thousands are expected from across the United States to participate in workshops, seminars and vendors with an opportunity to display their products and services.
Elisabeth Parker,St Petersburg Times Staff Writer interviewed Minister Farrakhan's assistant, Minister Ishmael Muhammad, who spoke about Minister Farrakhan's message Thursday from the grounds of the Westchase Golf Club during a private fund raiser there.
"Muhammad said Farrakhan has "never ever said anything to offend other faiths, and particularly the Jewish religion."

the Nation of Islam quietly announced that a full Dianetics Seminar has been added to the weekend activities for their Holy Day of Atonement scheduled for the 15th of October 2010 in Tampa Florida. according to the NoI web site they will be viewing a video about Dianetics and what Dianetics is all about followed by one-on-one co-auditing sessions. "Many Believers have experienced tremendous gains by participating in the seminar" and, "Allah willing, we want you to experience similar gains!"
