If you have any doubt whatsoever about Obama's disdain for the United States of America and what our greatest of all human civilizations stands for, then watch the launch of Discovery Thursday and realize that Obama has not only put an end to the Space Shuttle program and the Constellation Program, but to American human space flight.

Aside from the absurdity of someone's warped contempt for this great country, this warped person is our President.

The person Obama appointed to lead NASA, Charles Bolden, is quoted as saying his "foremost" mission as the head of America's space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.

15 months ago: I'm having a case of Deja Vu here. How can you blithely put on the on the hyper-partisan blinders and prevaricate for Jesus? Let me quote the man who actually cancelled the shuttle program - it was George W Bush - QUOTE:

"In 2010, the Space Shuttle -- after nearly 30 years of duty -- will be retired from service. Our second goal is to develop and test a new spacecraft, the Crew Exploration Vehicle, by 2008, and to conduct the first manned mission no later than 2014."

Yep, Bush stopped with Shuttle Program with the priviso that the Constellation Program would immediately follow.

What's wrong with reaching out to the Muslim population anyways, seeing as they are a considerable portion of our own citizenry, and the world population: who are you to _recoil_ from them? Are you better? Do you _target_ them all with the same presumption, thinking each one is a terrorist...Out of 1 billion Muslims, maybe 100,000 would like to kill you...don't you think there are at least as many goons in America who'd like to kill them? Where do you stand? How far does your _arm_ reach, or when I say arm do you _automatically_ think in the plural sense?

You are suggesting the annihilation of the Muslim people, by virtue of imagining the most significant and deadly attack possible -- a nuclear attack on Mecca. Dude, what separates you from the most crazy mined serial killer ever, if you want to nuke Mecca? What about the dude who wanted to kill all the Jews, and died trying? Who are you?

This kind of hyperbole is morally wrong. And it does hurt this website. It makes it seem like there are extremists hanging out like they're just normal guys -- where on R&R is there any editorial standard? Permitting the neo-nazi ranting of members talking about turning Mecca into a glass field is beyond the pale!

Where is a moderator on this site who can deal with the ruinous content that espouses genocidal behavior against a religious group living on the other side of the world?
