I had to return to the drama surrounding Jon and Kate, I just couldn't avoid it. With the recent report and speculation that just dropped, the story seemed to find me too. I wrote a few weeks ago about the initial story that some pics surfaced of Jon flirting with some college coeds while in Florida to be with his ailing mother. I'll link to that report below if interested, this more recent story seems to build off of it.
The latest drama involves Jon being seen leaving a club at 2 am, minus his wedding room, plus another woman. He was reportedly hardly able to walk, and yelling somewhat incoherently. Jon shared later that he was only visiting the club owner, and that he allowed the woman, a reported "friend," to drive his car. Photographers overheard Jon saying to the woman, "Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!" Suspicious? Unfortunately, yes.
Things aren't looking good in the Gosselin household, though this surely will only help the ratings of the reality TV show. As dysfunctional as this pair is, I like them and hope the best for them, even though this doesn't look good. It seems as though they swept to many problems under the rug for the show and a huge house and tract of land, and some solar panels to top it off.
Sadly, we'll have to wait and see how this all turns out, unfolded through the media outlets (I know I'm writing about it too, what a sad state I'm in). I feel for the family through this, and I truly think the parents care a great deal for the children, even if they put the show before their marriage, thus hurting the kids in the long run. I hate divorce and hope that these two will finally work through some issues, though I am a little unsure that is a marriage in front of the cameras equals a real marriage. Time will tell how this all spins...
