It started as a call for unification of the millions of 99ers, the soon-to-be 99ers, the long-term unemployed, and the jobless of America. The message has been passed around from blog to blog and article to article and the day has nearly arrived for the National March For Jobs, which was set for Saturday, April 2, 2011. With the understanding that there are millions who fit the unemployed description and that those same people, although willing, cannot make a cross-country sojourn to Washington, D. C., the April 2 March For Jobs was loosely designed around the idea of demonstrations and rallies to be held at local government offices and state capitals as well as on Capitol Hill.
