I would like to thank Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer fro inspiring these words with their Op-Ed in USA Today.

IT IS UN-AMERICAN to have our government take over private owned automakers.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN for our President to fire the CEO of one of those companies.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to take the fruits of ones labor and give it to another.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to have the government set salaries for workers in the private sector.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to use our government to arbitrarily choose which private companies will succeed and which will fail.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN for the government to allow labor unions to create a monopoly of labor (as our labor is a product purchased by employers).
IT IS UN-AMERICAN for our government to spend more than it has, placing future generations into debt.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to protest with violence, but VERY AMERICAN to protest LOUDLY.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN for the Executive Branch to ask citizens to "rat out" other citizens exercising their First Amendment rights.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to insult the citizens you work for by calling them "un-American."
IT IS UN-AMERICAN and idiotic to fix a hole in the wall by tearing down the house and building a bigger one.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN and just as idiotic to fix our Health Care system by tearing it a part and replacing it with an even larger bureaucracy.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to vote for or against a bill that has not been read.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to not give people time to read a piece of legislation.
IT IS UN-AMERICAN to write bills that the People, your BOSSES, and fellow members of Congress, cannot understand without a team of lawyers.

Speaker Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and MR. President:

IT IS VERY AMERICAN for me to write and post for anyone to see what I just wrote.

IT is also time for me to end for now, as I must go to work to pay the enormous, UN-AMERICAN taxes that the government you work in has levied upon me.

But I'm not done with "It is".

33 months ago: Aside: can we stop using children, or seriously disabled adults, as theatrical props? I'm tired of seeing kids barely old enough to toddle holding signs that read "Stop Obamacare". It's a cheap and shameless tactic, and to use them at events that are increasingly heated and potentially violent--really irresponsible.

33 months ago: Well Jak, I have one question for you...Which group has been starting the violence? I don't think its the opposition...does the letters SEIU ring a bell.

With the heavy tax burden placed upon people maybe some of these people can't afford the babysitter.

Also both sides use the props. Someone has to be the voice of the disabled and children. Lord knows the lefties will kill children inside the womb with out a voice.
33 months ago: And how do you know those disabled adults are not there of their own accord? Just because they LOOK seriously disabled PHYSICALLY does not mean they are disabled MENTALLY (A battle my quadriplegic son has to fight daily!)

33 months ago: here is Ms. Pelosi, being interupted by Code Pink, and some other Anti war Protesers in 2006. But the were "advocates" and she was back then a "fan of disruptors." Wow what a difference 3 years makes.
