We reap what we sow

When we think, we know better than God, and do not discipline our Children, do they grow up to be good adults? Look at what is happened in the World today, right there in Vancouver and now in most of England, any excuse to vandalize their own country, for the fun of it, we blame the Drug dealers, but why don't we blame our Children or better yet ourselves for the poor job we have done in training them and telling God to mind His own business.

Yes, we think we know better, don't we. And then we reap the fruit of our disobedience, and don't blame the Drug dealers without a demand, there will be no market.

Proverbs 29:
15 To discipline and reprimand a child produces wisdom, but a mother is disgraced by an undisciplined child. When the wicked are in authority, sin increases. But the godly will live to see the tyrant's downfall. Discipline your children, and they will give you happiness and peace of mind.

When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is happy. For a servant, mere words are not enough -- discipline is needed. For the words may be understood, but they are not heeded. There is more hope for a fool than for someone who speaks without thinking. A servant who is pampered from childhood will later become a rebel.

9 months ago: Try that crap in Texas. There would be three possible outcomes.
1) Your dead
2) You and your friends are dead
3) You fall in love with Bubba during your government paid vacation

Turn the other cheek does not include not protecting your property and family or others.
9 months ago: That's because there are a lot of Christians in Texas?
9 months ago: Dunno. Can you in your devine wisdom define a Christian in Texas?
9 months ago: Really ED. Give us your take on "Turning the other Cheek".
I'm curious. I want to see if you really know the meaning.

Please don't go down the road of "laying down ones life" unless you can explain the context of the statements.

On the other hand, he had only killed another gang member, so maybe they were right to go light on him.

But then on the third hand, he might have gotten out and killed an innocent person.

But then again, on the fourth hand, he did get out and managed to rid the world of two additional gang members and ultimately himself. So for the price of one lethal injection, four dirtbags are under sod.

See where my dilemma lies? Maybe we could let all the gang members out, on the promise that they will take out a few more gang members in exchange for a few more years on this earth.
9 months ago: You honestly think those are the only ones? I wonder if ED has the guts to show up in his winnebago with his video production company in El Paso and start to video across the border. Without body armor or protection. I wonder if he has the guts to drive said winnebago with production equipment into Mexico and file his video report. I'm sure he will be given several chances to "Turn the other Cheek".
