In 1965 Paul Harvey took to the microphone and warned America of it's coming doom, and today it sounds like everyday news. The very thing scoffed at some 50 years ago for being "alarmist" is now almost boring. The prophets of yesterday have written the script that is being played out, with uncanny accuracy... as if it were destined. However the "savior" of the day is not the coming king, no... it is the "almighty dollar" now touted as the final hope for mankind. Only it was the insatiable greed for this FIAT currency that may have got us to the state we are in today. "The love of money is the root of all evil" Jesus said over 2000 years ago... now we are living it's result.

A crowd intolerant of any reference to God, and intolerant of meticulous unedited history... a crowd that even though it is fallen from greatness, it refuses to return to the One whom it has rejected in the past, and eliminated from it's future. So today the remix is headlined "If I Wanted America To Fail" ...I must say theatrics have come along way since Harvey's day!
It would appear that we don't need to return to the "Savior of our souls" ...rather we must return to the Bankers of a better economy, pride in our work, and the drive to be competitive and capitalist. Don't get me wrong, work ethics are good, and a solid financial portfolio an asset... but what got us here is more than the poor brokerage of our National Treasure... it is the deportation off our soil, the very one that made life worth living... and love and happiness worth pursuing.

When we cease to be our brothers keeper, we will cease to see the necessity of his safety and his prosperity. As long as I have a job, house, food and retirement; it won't matter that I have stepped over fallen bodies to get it... I cease to live for God and Country, when I cease to live for God! The difference between those who died for our country, and those who live in it now is this... all they could think of is giving so we could have, and all we can think of is having, so that we won't have to give!
Our present populous raves about dead heroes, as we protest our "poor" living conditions. Our modern society celebrates our depressed and sacrificial ancestors, while we vote in the kinds of rulers that made it so for them, and make it so for us. The difference is that they lived and died in faith... the kind of faith that would gladly do with out for us their progeny... do we even have the simple faith to honor them and their God for the freedoms we spurn? Or have we become mere voices without action, wells without water, and scarecrows without heart?
WE ARE NOT MERE MORTALS.... we will be remembered... but for what?
The truth is God hasn't failed us... we have failed God!
