lets be honest, in life, so people are successful and better at certain things than others. It is what makes us human. Now, try to observe how most of the most successful people in life have connections/contacts. They know a variety of people. Some of them might have been self-made. But the others got successful through successful connections. Knowing people increases your luck, so if you know a lot of bad people, chances are your luck is going to turn out bad. If you barely know anyone, you have a 50/50 chance and so on. With this in mind, I highly advise you to get to know people on the right path as you never know when you will need them later or how they will affect your life.

For those not doing well academically, there is still hope, there is handwork and connections/contacts. Go meet people and show them what you can do, reveal your achievements if you have any and your "luck" might just take a turn. Look at this way, You have a product that you want sold, YOU have the option of exposing it to 100 people . Now the chance of someone buying the is lets say %25. Or You can show it to 1000 people, and the chances of selling it is STILL 25. But!25 of 1000 is how many people? exactly( too lazy to calculate). Now since more people are exposed to your product, you have a higher chance of SUCCESS at selling your product.

I was sitting down and that thought came to me. I decided to quickly right it down. I wrote this on a paper and will look at it everyday. I am making an attempt to meet new people who look like they are on the right path and see how my life goes.

Feel free to add anything or correct me in any mistakes I have made. Thanks!

What I meant is if you take your resume to only one person, chances of you getting employed are less than if you showed it two more people. Chances of you also getting employed are increased if you know that person.

You have the right idea.

One will never rise above the level of one's associates. Winners make a habit of doing the things that losers refuse to do. You can't soar with eagles and hang out with turkeys at the same time.

Ancient Chinese proverb - "Throw enough rice on the wall and some of it will stick."

If we ever want to make an impact, we must go at things massively. We can have the best skills in the world or the most pristine resume, but if we don't get it in front of enough people we can still end up a$$ out or unemployed. Make it good, but put PLENTY of them out there. Get in front of lots of people and show 'em what you've done and what you are capable of.

The key is to always bring our best effort. Always strive for improvement. Learn to be a good listener and be the type of person that people feel is worth listening too. Be relevant and think win win.

Never allow rejection to frustrate you or the word "no" be the final answer.

Also, luck is for losers. It's always better to operate from a position of blessing. Appreciate what you have. Be thankful and work from there.

Life is a gift and a tremendous adventure. We owe it to ourselves and to those who love us to make the best of it.

Good post.

I myself need to be better listener and chisel the win win way of thinking into my head. There is so much room in me that I need to improve. Thanks for the awesome feedback.
