Iran has offered to use its Revolutionary Guard's naval units to escort convoys trying to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

They call it "humanitarian" supply ships........just like you Al.

20 months ago: well once gain it has very little to due with aid or weapons. With Turkey making a move to gain dominance in the middle east, Iran is making sure that is does not stay politically quite. It would be very odd to have an Iranian ship in the Mediterranean.

Its political struggle and the aid is just a tool for that struggling between nations.

20 months ago: Red if you are going to tar everyone that condemns Israel's blockade with the same brush, you would have to include about 3/4ths of the people in the entire world.

I would like to note however that the the Rachel Corrie had peace activists on board. The Peace activists were Peaceful when their ship was taken. Everyone can learn from that. Ghandi wouldn't have been hitting the pirates with pipes. He might have manned the fire hoses though.

I like the idea of two convoys with 60 ships coming from different directions. That should overload the pirates.
