I find it morally repugnant, economically unsound, Un- American, and the seeds of future downfall of the American economy when we allow tax breaks to the wealthies 1% of Americans whose collective assets total more than than the collective assets of 50% of the rest of American workers. That 1% received their sinful wealth on the backs of the American men & women who work hard to raise their families, but live paycheck to paycheck with no hope of a secure future because they have no pensions, no job security, no support should they be disabled by their work! Each person in the wealthiest 1% in America now receives 5000% more than the average earnings of all other American workers! Why do we allow these wealthiest Americans the lowest tax rate in American history? All while serious efforts are taking place in Congress to cut the earned benefits of all American workers who have averaged between 40 and 50 years working, all the while paying into Social Security retirement accounts & FICA for Medicare health coverage in their earned retirement! Corporations have been allowed by our politicians to lay waste to the hopes of American workers for steady employment, respectful wages, health & disability coverage! They've accomplished this over the last 30 years through their union busting tactics, and lobbyist payoffs to the multitude of greedy politicians to look the other way as the corporate interests RAPE the average American worker!
I'd be proud to be the 1st casualty of the 2nd American revolution, while fighting to finally bring sanity, fairness, and true equality to American society! I want to be proud of America, but we are not there yet because we are on a path that is weakening the America of our hopes & dreams! Thank You!

Excellent post. Who do you think you'll be fighting? Certainly not the $60k/ year salaried gub'mint worker, or even the ones making $120k/ year -- they are just hired hands. And the elected politicians -- they won't fight, there's only a few thousand of them from the fed-state-county-city level, and they'll all be huddled in their homes.

The people you will fight will be the corporations that are run by the wealthy power brokers -- yeah, those who spend all their time fleecing the worker on their left and their consumer on their right to profit off them like I do my small goat herd. And they spend equal amounts of time using their money=power to control the government WE ELECT!

Every 2-4-6 years we elect representatives to do our bidding, but since when do they listen to us 308 million Americans once they land in office? Never, they are too busy being hounded by the wealthy corporations who hire lobbyists to do the dirty, grunt work of tasking the politicians 24/7/365 to do their corporate bidding and write laws that serve them. Do you think for a second the corporations would sit idly by and let the masses of people have a government of, by and for the people? Heck no, milk that cow and shoot that pig: let the animals take over the farm? Of, by and for the people sounds good, and that's only what keeps it going -- like how the "American Dream" sounds good, but is not reality, and people still buy it anyways.

The corporate spooks who infiltrate government just like any old spies, told JFK they'd shoot him if he didn't obey. This time around, they told Obama they'd shoot his daughters, and let him and Michelle live through it: hence Obama hires GE Jeffrey Immelt, Gene Sperling, Bill Daily, and wakes up each morning, puts on his diapers, and crawls along Wall St.
