GoogleIt is impossible to "Game" Google. You may use tactics to get a head up on organic search. But that is why Google provides Analytics. To help you do that. To find what works and what doesn't in regards to Keywords, SEO, Link-backs, etc. These things were designed into the system so that you could fine tune your page ranking. Google is simply an index. And they index everyone. And they allow everyone access to the tools to better their ranking. There is no way to "Game" Google.
AdsenseHow Google Adsense works and why it is nearly impossible to "game". I will preempt this by saying yes on a very small scale it may be possible to make a couple of dollars. But any organized party type of scam is virtually impossible. Or I should say well beyond the range of the unwashed. The number of variables in play in Google's algorithm protect it from all but the most sophisticated attacks using multiple ip masks and redirects etc.
First of all you must understand how and what Adsense does. Adsense takes payment from companies to get ads in front of potential clients based on the content the customer is viewing along with the customers data gathered by all of the means that Google employs.
Google pays publishers who make that content available for viewing on their rented server space. Anyone can use adsense on any server they have the permission to edit. You do not need a domain to get started.
Now here is the important part. While adsense pays publishers per click they are actually paying for impressions. Which is why you will see a better rate per click on posts and pages with higher view counts. Advertising works on all of the viewers not just the clickers. Everyone that sees the ad is a potential future sale (just like TV) which is why Adsense even bothers with telling you how many page views you have.
Adsense has evolved. Find discussion forums from a couple years ago. Then it was much more vulnerable. And unfortunately a lot of the information you'll find online today harks back to that time. Today it is nearly impossible. Those same forums today are more about getting the best rate from the service. Which is of course what business is about.
Google knows who clicks, when they click and how often they click, they know how long the person spent on the page they know where the person came from and where they go when they leave. This information makes it nearly impossible to truly game the system.
They use that information when deleting accounts.

Either a programmed robot (which I think this probably was) or by a human drone cutting and pasting stories into a page. This is what Google News is fighting. This is Spammy.
Google News is not concerned with quality. Because it can not be judged by algorithm. They are concerned about plagiarism because it can, and it hurts their image. But they are not interested in trying to qualify the posts that they are indexing. They allow their viewers to do that for themselves.
Remember Google News presents articles from all over the world and written in all of the worlds languages. Think about the enormity of trying to make any kind of content decisions on quality basis. Nope not ever going to happen.
But they can and will pull the plug on sites that spam them. They can and will pull the plug on sites that contain copied materials like the link above. Because that is the only way that the Google News system can be "Gamed". Viewers make the difference. If you have no viewers you loose ranking, its that simple. And of course you gain viewership by presenting articles that will appear to the masses.
