Global Warming Talks Should Have Been In The Summer

The International Talks on Global Warming took Place in Sweden in the Middle of Winter.

Now that a Heat Dome covers 1 million square miles covering 27 states, people might be more open to the idea of Global Warming. Who ever heard of a Heat Dome before? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43820802

Perhaps instead of Copenhagen they should have had the Global Warming talks in Somalia where 11 million people are at risk because of Famine caused by the worst drought in more than 500 years. This would give an indication of things to come. http://investmentwatchblog.com/un-declar...

Of course no single weather event can be pointed to as a direct result of Climate Change, but the fact that extreme weather events are occurring much more often and that the Records are being broken more often is an indication of Climate change. http://www.scientificamerican.com/report...

So the increased temperatures are beyond debate. Now the conservatives are restricted to saying that it is natural and not caused by humans. Well that is beyond doubt by the experts too. http://ossfoundation.us/projects/environ...

So now the only question is , should we just prepare for and adapt to the inevitable increases in temperature, try to mitigate the damage, or should we just respond as the disasters as they occur? http://www.sciencemag.org/content/303/56...

10 months ago: Yea, having them last winter when we had "record" lows and a large part of the country was covered with ice and snow would have made the whole "man made global warming" thing pretty seem silly.

When talking about Global Warming you need to look at the entire globe but the warmer arctic is changing weather patterns. Paradoxically as the Arctic gets warmer, The Northern hemisphere will have more storms and colder weather for the next 50 years. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/a...

Global Warming skeptics have said that scientists are exaggerating the effects of the melting arctic, but in fact the albedo effect, in which the lack of snow and ice reflecting radiation results in faster heating, is happening much faster than climate scientists predicted. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/greenspa...

10 months ago: So if you don't believe that people screwed up the environment, how do you explain all of the extreme weather events we have been happening? Just coincidence? Solar flares? How do you explain all the glaciers and the arctic sea ice melting? How do you explain the ocean acidification? How do you explain the rising sea levels? How do you explain the Top 11 Warmest Years On Record Have All Been In Last 13 Years? http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/200...

I want to hear some rational explanation that would convince me to disbelieve everything I read in any science or technical journal I read, and which would convince me that 98% of the scientists in the world are conspiring to lie to everyone.
