"down is up, bad is good

December 30th, 2009
from the magazine The Week, 12/25/09 to 1/8/2010:
Feeling down sharpens your attention and makes you less gullible. …happiness…(removes) a layer of skepticism. …sadness "promotes information processing best suited to dealing with more demanding situations," says psychologist Joseph Forgas.
Recessions may help us all live a little longer. When the economy tanks, people drink and eat less, sleep more, suffer fewer accidents, and live longer. Researchers found that americans were actually healthier during the Great Depression than they were in prosperous times immediately before and after…"

There you have it... the current status of the economy is better for everyone in the long run... can you believer it? Look around, does it look like people are doing better as a result of job-loss or loss or foreclosure on their home? It may have little "positive" effect on our health... but pharmaceutical sales are up! If you can't beat em' join em' ...will have us all looking for future jobs at Pizer.

If the study is even close to accurate, we will have a lot to look forward to... forget just the economy being flushed down the proverbial toilet, how about the environmental concerns and the instability of tectonic plate activity in the earth? Let's just up the 'health' factor a bit, and create a few concerns of out own... what say we speed up the destruction clock... why, it won't be long before we all live to 100... such is the release of a video exposing some dangers and benefits of microwaving people!?!

The following is a video a friend sent me, it is a peek inside some of the "greatest" minds our society has to offer, check out the part where the military sees the benefit of microwaving humans...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muyu4aucZ...

I have heard of crowd control, but "crowd cooking" may be the newest term on the block! How about a healthy side of chemical poisoning to go with those microwaves? This is our "elite" cooking this stuff up... and it doesn't end there. From Nikola Tesla's Earthquake Machine, to the HAARP Program... the technology is being used by the same people that would microwave people to manipulate or control them for what ever purposes they see fit. Years back my son "hacked" his cell phone to boost the distance that he could send or receive calls, his battery died soon thereafter, but succeeded. Now I know they say that cell phones use harmless microwaves... but "they" say a lot of things.

Getting back to the feature video... you know the saying that we are all like frogs in a lab test getting the temperature raised one fatal degree at a time... well, it appears to be spot-on! I personally like my frogs legs fried with a side of tartar sauce... but to each his/her own; it just seem that now with all the technology out there we are almost constrained to use it. I think that this is a similar situation that the military is faced with... nuking, bombing, burning, ripping, drowning, torturing, microwaving... politics.

So, if the depressing facts of our economy, environment and national security can make us just a little healthier... then the news about how our governments are planning to microwave us should be the practical replacement of healthcare! Anyway, if you want to keep up on all this you might want to get the manual... "Stupidity for Dummies"
...and you might want to ask yourself the pending question... "Are you an idiot?"

[BTW... how do you want your Americans? "Well done" ...and Canadians "rare" !:]

Just a thought... if the HAARP project is in Alaska, and the polar ice cap is melting; maybe we could just get HAARP to "dial" down it's "testing" for a while?

The microwaving humans is about 23 minutes into the video clip...

This makes good sense evolutionarily. During good times people are more reckless and the ones that drive too fast, smoke and do other dumb things eliminate themselves from the gene pool.

During the great depression people probably ate less food and more greens and vegetables. During good times they pig out more, eat out, and have more processed food so they are less healthy, fatter and more prone to disease like diabetes.

During trying times
14 months ago: Al,

Does that mean you are looking forward to a bit more trouble?
14 months ago: Sorry the info on the microwaving of humans by the military is 23min into the clip...

All of our wars against terrorism are just eliminating our stupid enemies and are acting like a training opportunity for the worst and smartest. Sort of like using poison to get rid of roaches. A few always survive and become more resistant to the poison.

We should get out of Afghanistan because when we send in drones and bombs it kills a lot of innocent civilians whose, relatives and friends feel obliged to seek vengeance. For each innocent you generate 2-3 enemies. That is counterproductive.

Instead of spending a million dollars for each soldier we could hire a hundred locals to protect schools, power stations, water plants etc. and then they would feel that they were theirs.

A better way to defeat terrorism is to educate people, especially women and girls. Greg Mortinson can build 22 schools for the cost of one soldier.

It is much easier to win the hearts and minds by helping them with basic services, and it could be done at a tiny fraction of the cost. http://www.radiosurvivor.com/2010/10/03/...

I really appreciate your perspective on this! You have touched on something that many seem to miss. We as "developed" nations want to send in the "help" ...but we fail to see that by not utilizing local resources and a local work-force, the area will always be dependent. I think that is what "they" have in mind. The building of schools is important... who determines what will be taught? It may be worse than the way they have it now.
