Mildred Morier celebrates her 90th birthday

On October 20th 2002, all of her living children all six of them decided to celebrate the event, they came from Winnipeg and England, Robin the youngest, and of course Junette lived in BC.

I had a thought, to go to the Roman Catholic bookstore and buy a bible. I chose an American standard, stamped on the inside cover was "Saint Joseph's addition" I then highlighted and put tabs on all of the Scripture that conflicted with their beliefs.

Just over 100 years after Jesus left the Earth, John said in Romans 1:8: "I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world." By the fourth century, Rome and the surrounding area was the most influential area of the western world.

By the tenth century, disagreements developed between the Eastern Church in Europe and the Western church in Rome. A major separation took place. Other doctrines that were not in the Bible were added, such as:

* Mariology: the belief that Mary is the Mother of God and that her virginity continued after the birth of Jesus, that she never had any other children.

* Immaculate Conception: the doctrine that Mary was conceived without sin, and was taken up bodily into heaven.

* Co-Redemptrix: the doctrine that Mary suffered with Christ and nearly died with Him thereby assisting with the redemption of the human race.

* Mediatrix: the belief that Mary mediates between man and God.

In 1517 Martin Luther, a theologian, Bible translator, and preacher objected to the new teachings. He emphasized the teaching of the Word of God directly from the Holy Bible as the one and only authority. His intention was not to break with the church but to reform it. His views were summarily rejected and he and his followers were forced out of the Catholic Church. Martin Luther began the first Protestant denomination. "My conscience is captive to the Word of God. Here I stand, I can do no other."

After having read the Bible from cover to cover several times, I would like to point out what is most obvious to me. The following are:

Mary
Simply put, Mary, the mother of Jesus was a human being chosen by God to use the natural process of giving birth to the baby Jesus. In any church that I have ever attended, Mary was always referred to with great respect and admiration. She is thought of as a privileged human being, having been chosen for this very special assignment.

Why did God choose Mary? First of all, she was chosen because of her bloodline. Her lineage was from King David through her husband-to-be, Joseph. Also Mary was chosen because of her purity in heart. She loved and respected God and kept his commandments. However she was still only human.
Luke 1:5: In the days of King Herod of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly order of Abijah. His wife was a descendant of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.

The reason that God chose Elizabeth to the mother of John the Baptist, was also because Elizabeth was righteous in the sight of God.
Luke 1:6: Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, and they lived blamelessly according to all of the commandments and regulations of the Lord.
Luke 1:27: To a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored!"

In Luke 1:29,30: Mary who was only an innocent human girl wondered what was about to happen. "Mary was greatly troubled at the angel's words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God."
Matthew 1:18: This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.

The blood of the mother does not cross over to the Child (The placenta is attached to the center of fetus's abdomen by the umbilical cord) that is why siblings have different blood types, so the blood that takes away the sins of the world comes from God. The children which Mary had were not adopted, they were from her womb, in the scriptures the Greek word were used then it will mean that they were not from her womb, if the word adecphos were used then it will mean that they were not from her womb.
