Ugh. Is there anything worst than a bad football injury?
Check out the Eric Wood injury video on the left. Gross. There’s no audio, but I assume the players heard Eric Wood’s broken leg snap like a piece of peanut brittle.
Don’t get me wrong, I like football and it’s fun to go watch a Seahawks game, but I don’t want any player to get seriously injured like Eric Wood. His injury video only serves as a warning to other players: don’t plant your feet while holding the ball!
The YouTube version of the Eric Wood injury video is even in slow motion, so you can see the precise moment when his tibia and fibula snap. Gross.
He was trying to block a Jacksonville Jaguar, and ended up sidestepping when he should have jumped. The result? An Eric Wood injury video everyone wants to see over and over again. It’s like a car crash; you can’t look away.
The Buffalo Bills website doesn’t have much information on Eric Wood’s injury. He had surgery in Jacksonville on Sunday night, and he is recovering. Of course, Wood will be out for the rest of the season.
So send your thoughts and prayers to the Buffalo Bills, and make sure you watch the Eric Wood injury video at least three times.
